Subject	Weird Black Box under hood?

Message	I have a small black box that is attatched to the back of my firewall. It has 2 pins sticking out of it that looks like vac lines attach to it...one side says IN the other side says OUT... I noticed that its SUCKING air....what the hell is this thing? I know its not stock....i will provide pics if i have too...but for now does anyone know? 1990 300zx TT
